
As Managing Director of Heneghan PR, Nigel provides strategic communications counsel to a number of leading national and international clients and is widely recognised within the industry, and in media and business circles, as one of the country's foremost corporate communications advisers. Responsible for strategy formulation and overall management of the firm, he specialises in corporate, financial and consumer public relations. His clients include Bitbuzz; Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard; NTR plc; Saongroup; Blueface; Fleetmatics; Mutual of America and ABP Food Group.
Before joining Heneghan PR in 1990 as a founder director he worked in London and the Middle East, where he was director of Image Communications in Dubai, UAE, for three years. Nigel is a former president of The Public Relations Institute of Ireland. He is Chairman of the Public Relations Consultants Association and Board member of International Communications Consultancy Organisation.
Rachel joined Heneghan PR in 2001, was appointed a Company Director in December 2003 and Deputy Managing Director in 2006. As well as being responsible for strategy formulation and new business development, Rachel advises a number of leading national and international organisations in their financial and corporate public relations activities. Her clients include NTR plc; HP Enterprise Business; Schwarzkopf; Gaslink; Irish Distillers; Rentokil Initial; ABP Food Group; Dublin Mint Office and Saint John of God Hospital.
Her B2B experience includes DX Ireland (B2B postal / courier delivery service); Aramex (B2B international courier service); Fastway Couriers (B2B national courier service); Intrum Justitia (debt collection); the Consumer Credit Association (CCA); Eirgrid; HLB Nathans (accountancy firm); Merrion Investment Managers; SAP. Rachel also has extensive crisis and issues management experience.
Prior to joining Heneghan PR, Rachel worked for 5 years with Murray Consultants as Account Director and previously worked in the marketing department of Nissan Ireland. Rachel holds an honours degree in Psychology from University College Dublin and a Certificate in Management from the Open University.
Eve Noone joined Heneghan PR in February 2010. Eve provides support to the team in Heneghan PR across corporate, consumer, healthcare and technology clients including Irish Distillers; NTR plc; ABP Food Group; Saongroup.com; Henkel, Kinetic, findmypast.ie and St. John of God Hospital. She also advises clients on social media strategy and tactics and is also part of the crisis communications team in Heneghan providing strategic advice and support to clients such as Henkel; Procter & Gamble; and ABP Food Group.
Eve is a graduate of UCD with a BA in Sociology and Linguistics, and holds the Diploma in Public Relations and Event Management from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. She completed the PRII certificate in Social Media Communications in October 2012.
Jo–Ann Enright joined Heneghan PR in 2011. Jo–Ann works across a broad range of clients including Bitbuzz; Blueface, Fleetmatics; Rentokil Initial, and the Jameson Visitors Centres. At Heneghan PR Jo-Ann specialises in technology PR and has worked on high profile campaigns including the launch of Blueface Mobile, which was nominated for a PR Excellence Award. She has a keen interest in technology and follows national and international technology blogs.
Jo–Ann joined Heneghan PR from Grylls+Reade in London where she worked for the previous year. Prior to that, she worked with Host PR.
Jo-Ann holds an MA in Public Relations from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in Communications Studies from Dublin City University. Her MA dissertation received the award for Research Excellence 2008 from DIT and was nominated for the Jos Williams Award for European Public Relations Excellence.
Gillian Neely joined Heneghan PR in November 2011. Gillian works on a number of clients including St. Michael’s House; Henkel; Gaslink; HP; findmypast.ie and Haven Partnership. Gillian joined Heneghan PR from Microsoft Ireland where she worked for a year. She holds an MA in Public Relations from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in Communication Studies from Dublin City University.
Emma Gallagher joined Heneghan PR in 2011. Emma provides support and updates to the Heneghan PR social media sites. Emma provides support to the team across corporate, consumer, healthcare and technology clients including Bitbuzz, Fleetmatics, Kinetic and St. Michael’s House. Emma is a graduate of NUI Maynooth with a BA in Media Studies and History and holds a MSc. in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations from University of Ulster, Jordanstown.
